Primary mental heath care is incorporated in the standard package of the Dutch health care insurance. The practice has concluded a contract with nearly all health care insurers. This means, that 5 treatments are paid directly by your health care insurance company. However, it’s compulsory to pay a contribution of 20 € per treatment. Most Dutch insurers advance your own contribution and collect it afterwards. A few insurers don't advance your own contribution so it must be paid in cash at each treatment. A number of insurers have an additional insurance in which your own contribution is reimbursed. Also a number of additional insurances reimburse extra treatments after the first five are finished. Please consult your health insurance company for these particular situations. If you’re insurance company doesn’t have a contract with my practice or if you have so-called refund insurance, then you must pay the practice directly in the usual manner and send the bill for reimbursement to your health care insurance company. It’s a requirement of the standard health care insurance package that your general practitioner or your company medical officer refers you for psychological treatment by a GZ psycholoog. Also a number of data is necessary for the care insurer. For this reason you are requested take along your heath care insurance card and a passport or identity card at the first treatment.
The tariff is € 85 per treatment. This tariff applies if you’re insurance company doesn’t have a contract with my practice or if you have so-called refund insurance. This tariff also applies when you want more treatments than is reimbursed by your health care insurance.
